Integration Steps:
Log into Brightspace and select Manage Extensibility in the admin menu.
2. Select LTI Advantage, followed by Register Tool.
3. Select Standard on the next page.
4. Fill out the form with the following details:

5. Check off all Extensions and select Send Institution Role.
6. Click Save.
7. You’ll now see a list of information that you will refer to later when completing the integration. Copy the Client ID and provide it to the Visible AI team.
8. Create a new Deployment for the tool:
Click View Deployments at the bottom of the page.
Click New Deployment.
Select the tool you just created from the dropdown menu.
Name the tool.
Select all extensions.
Select all boxes below except Anonymous.
Under Configuration Settings, select Open as an External Resource.
Add the tool to the appropriate Org Units of your choice.
9. Create an LTI Link to add to courses:
Click View Links at the bottom of the page.
Click New Link.
For the URL, paste:
https://ca.visibleai.io/api/lti/launch
.
10. In the substitution parameters section, add the following substitution parameters:
To enable VisibleAI for your assignment content, please follow the steps below:
In the course, navigate to "Content"
Under "Content", click on "Existing Activities"
Find "External Learning Tools" in the dropdown
Scroll to the bottom of the window to find the "Create New LTI Link" button
Under title, enter the assignment title for the VisibleAI assignment
Enter this VisibleAI LTI URL: https://ca.visibleai.io/api/lti/launch
VisibleAI should appear for the Tool field once LTI URL is inputted
Click on "Create and Insert"
The VisibleAI external tool should appear under Content with the title created in Step 5.
