Integration Steps
1. Register the Tool in Blackboard
Log into Blackboard as an admin.
Go to Integrations in the admin menu.
Select LTI Tool Providers.
2. Click Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool.
3. Enter the Client ID: 4414c004-5fac-402c-9bb9-326624a00f5f
You’ll be directed to a page with pre-filled tool information.
4.You’ll be directed to a page with pre-filled info about your tool.
Update the Tool Name to VisibleAI
Under Tool Status, select Approved
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Check every box
Select “Yes” next to:
Allow grade services
Allow Membership Service Access
5. In the Tool Provider Custom Parameters section, enter: lms_assignment_due_date=$ResourceLink.submission.endDateTime
6. Click Submit. You should now see VisibleAI listed under LTI Tool Providers in the Administrator Panel.
7. On the course level as course instructor, add to course content from Content Market configured course content tool
8. On the VisibleAI tool card, click on the “plus” sign to add the tool to the course.
Do not click on the card body as it will launch the tool and it will not be successful.
Once tool is added it shows as “Hidden from students” and settings can be edited:
9. VisibleAI will automatically appear as a Course Content Tool, allowing instructors and students to launch activities directly from their course content.
